With the advent of the email came the spam- hawking of stock trades, pharmaceuticals, sex, and more. Internet users worldwide are fed-up with glaring at their inbox to find junk mail upon more junk mail. These emails occupy unnecessary space and can prove laborious in regards to deletion. Some of these emails also contain viruses that are designed to cause harm to your computer. PDF spam shows how spammers will continue to evolve to survive in this industry. As spam tools become even more sophisticated, spammers will be forced to evolve once again and delve into un-treaded waters, as they have with PDF files. PDF spam is slowly but steadily increasing in volume. Spammers have shifted to using PDF attachments as most companies have excellent filtering devices that are readily capable of detecting any kind of image based spam. Image spam was rampant for a number of months before security vendors found a way to combat the nuisance. Now as this is on the decline, PDF spam is catching on. It is imperative that you have multiple filtering systems in place to tackle the problem of PDF spam.
